This payment portal service (‘the portal’) is offered by LPC Law Ltd t/a SCS Law (‘SCS Law’), a company, registered at Level 34, 25 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5LQ, registered in England and Wales, Company Number 02955453.
SCS Law provide the portal to allow payments by secure online transfer.
In order to use the portal, you must be either an individual or company and be capable of entering a contract in England and Wales. You may not make any payment and may not accept these Terms and Conditions if you are under 18 years of age or not authorised to enter into such a contract.
In making payment through the portal, you accept these Terms and Conditions which form a legally binding contract between you and SCS Law.
An email from SCS Law detailing confirmation of payment will be sent to you upon payment being made by you.
Payments made for amounts which do not match the balance outstanding on the file at the time of payment will be treated as part payments unless prior agreement has been made with us to accept a discounted amount. SCS Law do not guarantee that the balance presented on the portal is the full balance outstanding on any file at any time.
Refunds will only be issued in the event of a technical error with our systems, or in the event that the user has paid over the amount due. Refunds will be made within 10 working days of us being notified of such errors.
Any chargebacks made by your banking provider will be investigated and if appropriate, defended. If for any reason the payment is reclaimed by your banking provider and it is not due to the fraudulent usage of your card, we reserve the right to bring an action against you for the sums lost as a result of the same.
When making payment we will immediately deduct the amount from your specified account. Your billing statement will indicate a payment to ‘LPC Law Ltd t/a SCS Law’.

We never store full details of the card used to make payment. We retain only enough information as permitted by The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) in order to trace or refund a transaction that is made to us. The processing of any payments from credit / debit cards issued by any of the major Card issuers MUST adhere to the PCI DSS standard.
